Organic gardening is a form of horticulture that concentrates on care for the soil using the following natural methods rather than artifically enriching it with synhthetic fertilizers and use of herbicides:
It encourages us to control weeds as follows rather then using chemical herbicides (weedkillers).
It stresses the need to control and discourage pests using the following methods rather than using genetically modified crops and synthetic pesticides:
It generally relies on the balance of nature to keep things healthy and interferes with this as little as possible. |
